Nymphaea 'Marliacea Chromatella' | Water Lily P11

Marliacea Chromatella' is an old favourite among waterlilies. It produces very large, cup-shaped, pale lemon-yellow flowers all summer long, continuing until late in the season. It is very free-flowering and is one of the few lilies which will do well even in partial shade. The leaves are attractively splashed with purple blotches and will remain almost evergreen in a mild winter. Reliable, hardy, and always popular.
Approximate leaf spread: 150cm (60 inches)
Recommended water depth over crown of plant: 30 - 90cm (12 - 36 inches)
Flowering time: June to September

How to Care

Water lilies flourish in still water, so best not plant them near a pond pump or fountain, particularly where the water can splash onto their leaves. Initially the pot should be placed so the leaves float on the surface of the water. As the plant matures, gradually lower the plant deeper into the pond until the desired depth has been reached.
You can re-pot lilies into a larger aquatic pots in order to give it more space to grow. For best results we recommend using Westland Aquatic Compost
